Synopsis

The wife had only wished for one thing, and one thing only... But when she realized that her wish would not come true, she began plotting a dreadful revenge on her husband.

Married to a beautiful wife from rich family and running his own café business which he started after leaving a major advertising agency, Mochizuki Kohei (Hideaki Ito) seemed to lead a picture-perfect life that anyone would be envious of. However, underneath the surface, Kohei was tired of having to do things to please his overly-controlling, manipulative wife Maria. To put an end to his misery, Kohei decides to kill his wife Maria and plots a murder with his lover. One day, as he comes home and finds what appears to be blood on the floor. Maria, however, is nowhere to be seen. Kohei then becomes the suspect in her possible murder. -- Fuji TV 

When my friend said that Boku no Yabai Tsuma is like Gone Girl (which i haven't finished read the whole novel) I rushed looking for this drama! And when I saw the all casts (specially Hideaki Ito and Takahashi Issei) yes I know i will love this drama! Specially when my last suspense drama and books that i have watched and read are like few months ago. I miss suspense!

The drama begin when the husband (Ito Hideaki) is getting annoyed with his wife who like a perfection of marriage (I thought she has PTSD). People thought their marriage is like a REAL marriage with full of love, money, and happiness. BUT the real marriage life that they have is so far from those elements. The real life they have is full of misery, lies, and affair. 

When the kidnapping of his wife started, the show is begin. Like i said before, 2 first episodes is like Gone Girl, which is so popular few years ago and still counting. I would love to say that this drama is a FEMINIST drama with a beautiful story and plot twist. When other drama served a woman who should protected by a man, this one, BIG NO BOO! Kimura Yoshino really clung into the character. Independent, smart, sly, and of course think with logic, not heart. 

This drama give another point of view for people who are looking for a perfection in their life. Not all the shiny things is beautiful, back the shiny part, there are a crack, holes, and tragically ugly part with black, or burn. And also, went to that point is not easy, there are a lot of tears, hopes, even blood. So, you better watch this dorama.

After have a long day with school love stories like Good morning call, Orange, and other, back to basic with suspense is like back to home. This drama really makes me shiver, how can a story leads that way? It's so smart, the writer is really smart to put a best plot twist to each episode. I don't get bored with this one, the writer give the audience what-next-feeling. And it still haunted me even i have finished watching the drama!

The acting really splendid! I love the connection between the lead characters. Yoshino Kimura who is elegant, with Hideaki Ito who is smexxxyyyy sly and sometimes stupid, and the other casts like Takahashi Issei and Kimura Midoriko make it more powerful. The drama makes me satisfied. The plot twist so unbelievable until the last minutes of last episode. 

If you like a drama which full with suspense and question mark, watch this one.
